Based on the E9-series 3.0 CS and conceived by BMWs competition department, the 3.0 CSL was the companys 1970s touring-car contender. A homologated racing car for the road, the 3.0 CSL was produced along three distinct series between May 1971 and October 1975, with just 1,265 built. As with the basic E9-series cars, the 3.0 CSL was assembled by Karmann at its Rheine, Germany facilities. The "L" model suffix represented its lightweight design that saved about 440 pounds, unlocking formidable performance and handling. Features common to all CSLs included a lightweight alloy hood and outer door skins, thinner-gauge steel body panels, a lightweight interior, and uprated engine specifications. The 1973 to 1975 model-year cars were the most powerful of the series. Of total production, 500 were delivered to the UK.

On the track, the 3.0 CSL was immediately successful and more than a match for its closest rival, the Ford Capri, creating a sensation in German Touring Car (DTM) and European Touring Car (ETCC) competition. In 1973, Toine Hezemans secured the ETCC championship with a 3.0 CSL, and that year, he co-drove one with Dieter Quester to a class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Other important wins during 1973 included a 1-2 finish in the German Touring Car Grand Prix at the Nrburgring, with Chris Amon and Hans-Joachim Stuck leading Hezemans and Quester. The 3.0 CSL went on to win the ETCC four more times consecutively from 1975 through 1979, and it was prominent in American IMSA competition. In FIA Group 4, the CSL gained a 3.2-litre DOHC 24-valve turbo engine with 750 hp on tap, taking on and beating even Porsche's 911 RSRs and 935s. A 3.0 CSL was also a canvas for BMW's first "Art Cars," painted by Alexander Calder and Frank Stella.

Offered with a BMW Classic Certificate, this 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL is an original right-hand drive model, produced on January 29, 1973 and delivered new to London, England on May 24, 1973. The car was converted to left-hand drive and was refurbished by Oldenzaal Classics in the Netherlands between 2017 and 2023 before being imported to Canada, where it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. This example left the factory in striking Inka (22) paint and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment, which also addressed the interior. Replacement graphics, trim, headlights, mirrors, and emblems were installed at that time. Black stripe graphics boldly announce the winning competition heritage of this 3.0 CSL. The Black leather-and-fabric interior includes supportive competition-style front bucket seats. Power is delivered by a 3.0-liter 'M30' inline six-cylinder engine, paired with a Getrag five-speed manual transmission. As the foundation of General Motors, Buick has consistently led America's auto industry throughout its long history with outstanding engineering, power, and prestige. During the 1930s, Buick competed head-on with Packard, and by 1938, Buick president Harlow "Red" Curtice even had fellow GM division Cadillac in his sights. The Roadmaster was key to this strategy, introduced in 1936 and applied to Buick's top models through 1957. Following General Motors' stylistic revolution, which began in 1927 with the hiring of Harley Earl and his establishment of the "Art and Colour" Department, the industrial giant's Cadillac Motor Division immediately redefined automotive design. Cadillac's engineering prowess also reached a high-water mark with the company's V-8 models joined by the V-16 for 1930 and the V-12 for 1931. In fact, no other automaker on either side of the Atlantic could lay claim to offering a full range of V-8, V-12, and V-16 model lines all at once. In 1931, while the nation was deep in the throes of the widening Great Depression and sales of luxury cars were in freefall, Cadillac forged ahead in its quest to dominate the U.S. luxury car market, and the new V-12 line was a key factor in the plan.

Renowned as one of the smoothest-running and silent engines ever produced, the Cadillac V-12 chassis was available in 140- and 143-inch wheelbase lengths. Internally designated Series 370-A, Cadillac's V-12 line was introduced in September 1930, priced from $3,795 during the inaugural 1931 model year. A wide range of 10 body styles was catalogued from GM's Fisher and Fleetwood body divisions, supplemented by a vast array of custom bodies from external firms. Fleetwood's renowned craftsmen fitted the interiors for all V-12 models. 

This dashing 1931 Cadillac Model 370-A V-12 Five-Passenger Phaeton is a wonderfully restored and well-preserved example throughout. One of just 128 examples produced with Style No. 4760 coachwork by Fleetwood was part of the renowned classic car collection of Dr. Barbara Mae Atwood for many years until her cars were dispersed in early 2009. Most recently, it was under the care of the noted Bill and Patty Spurling Collection.
 
Riding a commanding 140-inch wheelbase chassis, this Series 370-A V-12 Five-Passenger Phaeton carries a decidedly sporting presence with its outstandingly proportioned open body accentuated by a "Jazz Age" Orange paint finish with Brown fenders, and Dark Brown cloth convertible top with Light Brown piping. The renowned 368 cubic-inch Cadillac V-12 engine is exceptionally well detailed and features Black porcelain and polished components, a signature Cadillac feature of the era. A synchromesh 3-speed manual transmission delivers the V-12 powerplant's power and abundant torque output. 
 
In addition to the captivating dual-cowl Phaeton bodywork, highlights include the aircraft-style folding rear windshield, which folds and lowers into the rear passenger compartment. Period accessories are many, ranging from the Pilot-Ray accessory lights, which swivel with a link to the steering gear, plus a chrome radiator grille guard, Cadillac's Art Deco "Goddess" radiator mascot, and front-fender lights. Twin side-mounted spare tires in steel carriers grace each side of the Cadillac's long hood and include engraved chrome side view mirrors. Moving rearwards, accessories include cowl lights and wind wings on each side. To the rear, an access panel, a folding luggage rack, a trunk, and twin taillights are present. Period-style Whitewall tires surround Brown-painted wire-spoke wheels matching the finish on the fenders.
 
The spacious passenger compartment is trimmed in Tan leather upholstery with Light Brown carpeting and includes convenient storage pockets inside each door panel. The visually striking engine-turned dashboard houses useful instrumentation, housed within a central oval-shaped bezel. The rear passenger compartment includes twin folding footrests and courtesy lighting. In addition to the cloth convertible top, weather gear includes a complete set of side curtains, housed within a storage pouch. A toolkit is also present. Of all Corvette generations produced over the past 70-plus years, the one most sought-after by today's collectors is the second-generation 1963-67 Sting Ray. Of them, the most coveted are the final 1967 models with uncluttered styling that remains a masterpiece of Bill Mitchell's GM studios. Performance was ferocious throughout production, and for '67, available powertrain combinations included hot small-blocks and the mighty 427 CI 'Mark IV' big-block in three power levels, plus the extremely rare, competition-only L88 option.
 
One of the four big-block engine choices for 1967 was the RPO L68 427 CI "Tri-Power" mill, factory-rated at 400 horsepower and 460 pavement-melting pounds-feet of peak torque. Despite its massive output and triple carburetors, the L68-powered Corvette was surprisingly easy to maintain thanks to its hydraulic valvetrain. Out of total Corvette production of 22,940 units, just 2,101 L68-powered Corvettes were built for 1967, at an option premium of $305.50.
 
Documented by its corresponding Corvette Order Copy (Tank Sticker), this example is believed to be one of just 14 Sting Ray Convertibles produced for 1967 with the 400-horsepower RPO L68 "Tri Power" 427 CI V-8 engine, Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission, and factory air conditioning. A factory Rally Red car with a red vinyl interior, this highly equipped Corvette also includes power steering and windows, factory side exhaust pipes, Speed Minder, an AM/FM radio, seat headrests, and tinted glass.
 
Provenance for this rare, highly optioned Corvette includes single-owner care from 2007 to 2026. The prior owner was John M. Devine, the retired interim Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2011 of Dana Holding Corporation, who had retired in 2006 as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of General Motors Corporation, positions he held from 2001 to 2006. Mr. Devine's earlier career achievements included service as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fluid Ventures, LLC, an Internet start-up investment company, and 32 years at Ford Motor Company, where he last served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

The introduction of the 5th Generation or 'C5' Corvette for 1997 marked the first all-new model in 13 years. A comprehensive refinement of "America's Sports Car", the C5 featured a new chassis and a milestone evolution of Chevrolet's small-block V-8 engine. The design team, led by Dave Hill and John Cafaro, systematically addressed every shortcoming of the fourth-generation Corvette and improved, if not eliminated, all of them in the C5.
 
Engines have always defined Corvettes, but perhaps no engine has so comprehensively defined the car's evolution as the 1997 LS1. Its similarity with the original Corvette small block began and ended with its basic layout. The new aluminum engine featured an integral cast aluminum oil pan, composite intake manifold, individual-coil ignition system, and a hollow camshaft design. Delivering 345 factory-rated horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, the LS1 was a more than worthy successor to the previous design.
 
The C5 chassis featured a noticeably longer wheelbase length and hydroformed side rails that improved rigidity and reduced weight. Corvette engineers worked with GM's Hydra-Matic division and Borg-Warner to create rear transaxles with four speeds in the electronically managed automatic and six speeds in the manual gearbox, providing an ideal 50/50 weight distribution.

Although the new-for-1970 Dodge Challenger was one of the last entrants to the "pony car" club, it enjoyed strong success and reigns as one of the most popular American performance cars ever produced. Featuring clean, broad-shouldered styling, the Challenger could also accommodate the entire Chrysler engine range, while the aggressively wide rear suspension borrowed from Chrysler's B-Body line easily housed the wide low-profile tires that were available by 1970.

Offered in coupe and convertible form, the Challenger was a solid value priced from $2,851 for the standard 6-cylinder coupe. Performance fans could order the comprehensive R/T "Road and Track" package, a screaming buy at just $300. A wide array of 18 exterior colors was available, along with a no-cost rear "bumblebee" stripe for the R/T, or bodyside striping with "R/T" callouts. Power choices with the R/T package included the standard 383 CI V-8, with the 375-horsepower 440 Magnum, triple-carb 440 Six Pack, and 426 Street Hemi optional. Transmission choices included a heavy-duty 3-speed manual, New Process A-833 4-speed, and A-727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic.

Immediately, the Challenger earned a formidable reputation on the street and in competition, where it competed in SCCA Trans-Am road racing and drag racing's hotly contested Pro Stock and Super Stock ranks. The Challenger's smooth bodylines also translated very well to fiberglass-bodied AA/Funny Cars.

Documented by two original copies of its corresponding Chrysler Corporation Car Production Broadcast Sheet (build sheet), the original window sticker/MSRP, and original dealer finance contract, this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T coupe was delivered new to DiNapoli & Salicco Motor Sales in Beacon, New York. The original purchaser was nearby resident Theodore Evans, who financed the car on May 6, 1970. Features and options were many, beginning with the 375-horsepower U-Code 440 CI V-8 engine, D21 4-speed manual transmission, A33 Track Pak rear axle, and power brakes with front discs. Other options applied to this highly equipped Challenger R/T included the A01 Light Group, A04 Radio Group including a Music Master AM radio and power steering, the A05 Protection Group, A63 Moulding Group, C16 center console, J41 Pedal Dress-Up kit, and the J55 option including factory undercoating and hood insulation.
 
More recently, a top-quality restoration was performed. Post-restoration, the white padded vinyl roof covering was removed, and the white interior was switched to the current black upholstery, with the cars "triple black" combination particularly attractive and rarely seen today. Lunched for 1961 and produced along three distinct series through 1974, Jaguar's projectile-shaped XKE reinvented the sports-car concept in one convincing stroke. In 1971, Mercedes-Benz introduced the all-new Type R107 350SL as the replacement for its long-running 230/350/280SL sporting convertible models. Design was executed by Bruno Sacco, who was also responsible for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans of the 1970s. Somewhat larger and more rounded than its predecessors, the new SL was based upon a steel unibody structure and featured a more luxuriously appointed interior. Faster than ever before, the new SL delivered more predictable handling and safety features extending to the most minute detail. As expected, Mercedes-Benz constantly refined and updated the R107, which remained in production for nearly 20 years in five variants. Powered by a 5.6-liter V-8 developing 227 rated horsepower and 279 pounds-feet of torque, the 560SL was the ultimate expression, available from 1985 through 1989. The 560SL has updated front suspension geometry, larger disc brakes, and standard ABS enhanced high-speed stability and stopping power. As always, Mercedes-Benz SL ownership, particularly in reference to the 560SL, clearly signified that one had indeed "arrived," and this high-end image continues unchanged today.

Introduced at the 2005 New York International Auto Show for a 2006-model year launch, the Mercedes-Benz R-Class was a highly versatile mid-size luxury MPV. Fascinating development of the R-Class was encouraged by the success of Mercedes' smaller A- and B-Class MPVs, with Mercedes-Benz collaborating with coachbuilder Stola on a concept vehicle, the Vision GST, at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show, followed by the Vision R debuted at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show. The R-Class was manufactured in Vance, Alabama, until 2015, when production moved Mishawaka, Indiana, with lower-volume production until 2017.

Accompanied by a detailed VIN decoding, this 2007 Mercedes-Benz R350 left the factory finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) paint over Gray MB-Tex simulated leather upholstery. As expected, features and options are numerous, including the panoramic glass sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors, to name just a few.
Delivered new to California in mid-2007, this R350 remained there until 2025 with three successive owners, accumulating only an approximate 48,500 miles. The 3.5-liter M272 V-6 engine, factory-rated at 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and the traction of Mercedes' renowned 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. Upon introduction for the 1966 model year, the boldly styled Oldsmobile Toronado gained immediate fame as Americas first front-wheel drive automobile produced since the Cord 810/812 of 1936-37. Continuing to epitomize America's fine-car market during the early 1930s, Packard's Eleventh Series continues to rank among the company's finest. Debuted in August 1933, they featured a wide range of handsomely styled bodies combining Raymond Dietrich's foundational design established in 1930 with masterfully streamlined updates penned by Alexis de Sakhnoffsky. Beautifully skirted fenders and V-shaped radiator grilles enhanced the style and grace of the Eleventh Series Packard Models and numerous mechanical updates delivered an outstanding drive with greater ease of operation. Rooted in development work initiated under Chief Engineer Harry Grylls, who joined Rolls-Royce in 1930 and served with company co-founder Sir Henry Royce, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and its Bentley T-Series companion model debuted in October 1965. Initially, the Silver Shadow was powered by the sophisticated 6.23-liter V-8 engine introduced with the Silver Cloud II in 1959. To better cope with tightening vehicle-emission requirements, a displacement increase to 6.75 liters was standard by 1970. While Rolls-Royce did not cite official power ratings, estimates of 220 horsepower are considered reliable. In North America, power delivery was via General Motors' Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed automatic transmission, standard equipment by 1968.
 
In addition to the definitive 4-door saloon, Silver Shadow body styles available for the first-generation models through 1977 included a 2-door from 1965-71, a "one-off" coupe in 1968, a convertible, and a formal long-wheelbase model from 1967-77. Passenger comfort remains legendary, with the Silver Shadow the first Rolls-Royce equipped with standard air conditioning.
